Aquatica is SeaWorld’s one-of-a-kind waterpark. Inspired by a whimsical take on the South Seas, Aquatica immerses guests in the playfulness of the sea, taking them in, over and under the water with the world’s most unique water rides and animal encounters. Across the nation, other worlds to discover

[b]SeaWorld San Diego[/b]

The original SeaWorld, first opened in 1964. Located on beautiful Mission Bay, the park began on 22 acres and in 46 years expanded to nearly 200 acres. SeaWorld San Diego has a ton of fun planned for 2010 and a reason for every season to visit the marine-life park. From live concerts and fireworks, to seasonal shows and holiday festivities, there’s a whale-sized list of reasons to come back again and again. New in 2010 is a spectacular show, Blue Horizons that centers on Marina, a young girl whose vivid imagination sets the stage for an extravaganza of graceful dolphins, magnificent pilot whales and a rainbow of exotic birds. A favorite at SeaWorld’s sister park in Orlando since 2005, Blue Horizons is scheduled to open May 29 at the park’s completely renovated Dolphin Stadium.

[b]SeaWorld San Antonio[/b]

Opened in 1988, the largest of the SeaWorld parks spills across 250 acres of Texas hill country. New to SeaWorld San Antonio this year is Azul: Lure of the Sea. This magnificent new show is a journey beyond, to a place where beluga whales, Pacific white-sided dolphins, colorful birds and human acrobats come together in a celebration of sea and sky. This summer, guests will be amazed with the all-new show, Shamu Rocks that couples electrifying music and special effects with amazing killer whale behaviors in a nighttime, fun filled, splash spectacular, June 4 – August 8. Get ready for even more water fun in May with Sidewinders, a new multi-flume water slide in SeaWorld San Antonio’s Lost Lagoon water park. Two additional new slides offer guests an exciting descent into a bowl to experience a number of revolutions and exiting descent from the center of the bowl into an enclosed slide before reaching the run-out.

[b]Busch Gardens Williamsburg[/b]

Featuring one of the world’s most incredible collections of thrill rides, Busch Gardens Williamsburg has been named the world’s most beautiful theme park for 20 consecutive years. In 2010, Busch Gardens offers guests a line-up of events, concerts, a new Irish show and a brand new family thrill ride, “Europe in the Air,” a motion simulator that takes guests on an unforgettable journey through some of Europe’s most beautiful landscapes. And the fun doesn’t stop there. Summer, fall and winter are packed full of excitement with a nighttime light show production, “IllumiNights: A Busch Gardens Encore,” “Howl-O-Scream,” celebrating all things Halloween, and “Christmas Town,” the newest holiday spectacular that transforms the European-themed park into winter wonderland.

As the mid-Atlantic’s largest water park, Water Country USA offers 43 acres of pools, children’s play areas, lazy rivers and water rides. The park has planned a summer full of special events and promotions including a brand new show and a cabana style beach party. Families will have a blast at “Rock ‘n’ Roll Island,” featuring nearly 600 feet of body slides, a 700-foot lazy river and a 9,000-square-foot pool all set to a 1950’s and 60’s surf theme.
