TACA signs full content agreement with Sabre

TACA International Airlines (TACA) and Sabre Travel Network are pleased to announce a new, long-term five-year, Full Content Agreement. This new deal will give all Sabre Connected travel agencies access to TACA’s full range of content.

Through the Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS), Sabre Connected travel agents will have efficient access to all of the carrier’s published fares and inventory including, key capabilities such as last seat availability, codeshare and interlining sales, interactive inventory updates and eticketing. Access to these capabilities through the Sabre GDS will streamline the shopping and booking process, driving enhanced productivity for Sabre Connected agencies.

“Agencies are important partners in the air travel value chain. At TACA, we’re proud of the strong relationship we have with agencies, as evidenced by them selecting TACA in 2008 as the Leading Airline in Mexico & Central America at the World Travel Awards. As we extend our full content to agencies, we look forward to an even closer partnership in meeting the travel needs of those who already know and enjoy our service, and of those who will try our product for the first time.” said Matt Vincett, Vice President Commercial, TACA Airlines.

Sabre believes they will add significant value to TACA and tremendous efficiency to its travel agencies.

“As TACA continues to expand their network beyond Central America, Sabre looks forward to being part of their continued growth and we will provide the strategic marketing and technology solutions to help them succeed,” said Jay Jones, senior vice president, The Americas, for Sabre Travel Network.
